Sveikiname IIIa klasės mokinį Kajų Tamavičių, tarptautiniame anglų kalbos eilėraščių konkurse laimėjusį II vietą.

Konkursas vyko 2026 m. vasario 23 d. – balandžio 30 d.

Konkurso dalyviai kūrė originalius eilėraščius tema „Rankos rankoje“, juose rašė apie žmogiškumo, empatijos, pagarbos bei bendrystės svarbą. Taip pat buvo vertinamas kūrinio pavadinimas, atspindintis pagrindinę idėją.

Not Alone

The streets raised me on sirens and broken light,

Corners ruled by colors, by names spoken too tight.

Every block had a hunger, every night a test,

Steel in our voices, fear stitched into our chest.

Gangs promised belonging, a borrowed kind of pride,

But otherness followed wherever I tried to hide.

I saw human fragility carved in friends too young,

Dreams swallowed whole before they’d found a tongue.

When rage pulled my sleeve, my brothers pulled me back,

Taught me moral courage isn’t learned in attack.

They’d reach out a hand when the dark closed in fast,

To hold on to one another — this moment will pass.

We stood shoulder to shoulder, mutual trust our shield,

Silent understanding no street could ever steal.

I’m still walking these roads, but I don’t walk alone —

Hand in hand, my brothers keep me human, keep me home.
